The next NLG Demo Committee meeting will be Monday April 13, 6:30pm

People working on cases are particularly encouraged to come - we will talk about ongoing cases and post-charging support. Other possible agenda items, to be determined by meeting participants, include upcoming actions, legal observer trainings and post-demo procedures, database conflict issues, ongoing work re OPD and BPD.

Committee on Police & Prisons Gathering

The next gathering of our Committee on Police & Prisons will be:

The National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area Chapter's Committee on Police & Prisons exists to challenge oppressive practices, policies and laws of law enforcement, prisons and jails used against communities of color, prisoners, and others. It does so by supporting community activists and building member capacity to support and be a part of movements for human rights and civil liberties. It's priorities include:
