Following the screening, stay for an important discussion featuring filmmaker, Nick Berardini, and San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi about the film and its implications for the upcoming decision of the San Francisco Police Commission to possibly start outfitting SFPD officers with Tasers.

New Community Resource: It's a Trap!

Today the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (NLGSF) released a simple but critical piece of public education on undercover law enforcement, informants and cooperating witnesses. It's a Trap! provides basic information that everyone should know about the tactics of law enforcement, but that may be particularly important for political activists and those who are, or who are perceived to be, Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim or South Asian.
