Our annual membership meeting will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 518 Valencia in San Francisco (1 block from the 16th Street BART Station).
Join us to begin organizing next year's national convention. The 2015 Law for the People Convention will be in Oakland – the first time in the Bay Area since 1999 – and our chapter has a big role to play. We will use our membership meeting to begin visioning and planning for a national conference that brings hundreds of radical and progressive legal workers, lawyers and law students together. We welcome planning committee volunteers, but also want to hear from anyone with ideas about what this convention should be and could be.
This year, the membership meeting will also be the first day to cast ballots in our chapter election. Polls will open at 6:00 p.m. and close at 8:00 p.m., at 518 Valencia, for those who wish to vote in person. Absentee voting will be after the meeting.
