"Broadening the Bench in California: Judicial Nominations and Professional Diversity"
Alliance for Justice presents a panel on the need for judges who bring a wide variety of life experiences to the bench featuring:

The panel will discuss the current state of professional diversity on the bench, how it might improve, and why professional diversity is important.

Immediately following the panel will be a special information session: "Navigating the Judicial and Political Appointments Process"

The Honorable Mary Dryovage, California Occupational Health & Safety Appeals Board

The panel for individuals interested in the judicial and political appointment selection process in California. This 45-minute session will feature additional panelists (TBD) explaining the selection and appointment process for California state and federal court judgeships as well as for political appointments for administrative agency positions.

CLE credits: This program is approved for 1.75 hours of MCLE credit, including 1 hour of elimination of bias credit.
