Meet the Intern: Adriana Levandowski

Hello, my name is Adriana Levandowski. I am very excited to serve the NLG this spring as an intern. I grew up in Seattle Washington and moved to San Francisco four years ago to attend the University of San Francisco. I am graduating this May with a major in International Studies and minors in Legal studies, African studies, and Peace and Justice studies. After graduation, I plan to attend law school in London England and obtain an LLM Master of Laws degree. Previously, I interned with the San Francisco Democratic Party, which initially sparked my political activism and interest in social justice. Last year, I studied abroad in London in the Fall, where I interned at a criminal law firm and Paris in the Spring to gain fluency in French. Upon returning to the US, I worked at a few different law firms and interned at a marketing firm. I hope to focus my legal degree on international human rights and environmental issues. In my free time I play on an adult kickball league and I am an avid pub trivia player. I am looking forward to learning from the guild and gaining an insight into the operations of a successful NGO and hope to also train as a legal observer. Thank you for the opportunity to work with the Guild this Spring and I look forward to meeting more Guild members at the Testimonial Dinner in April.
