  1. Become a GI Rights Counselor! A pro bono opportunity for Law Students. The GI Rights Hotline provides accurate helpful counseling and information on military discharges, AWOL and UA, and GI Rights. The GI Rights Network is a private, nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that answers thousands of calls from military personnel and their families. There are many reasons for these calls.

This project satisfies pro bono requirements for most Bay Area law schools. Hotline Requirements: Attend the training. Commit to two hours aweek for the duration of the semester.

We are very sensitive to your exam schedules. We offer a paid summer internship.
