2017 Progressive Law Day - Lawyering for the Resistance

October 14, 2017

PLD is a day-long conference, organized and led by law student members of the National Lawyers Guild, and open to legal workers, lawyers, activists, and anyone interested in learning about radical lawyering and legal work. This is a great opportunity to connect with future legal advocates from all across the Bay Area.

Join NLG Bay Area Chapter for the annual Progressive Law Day. This year, the theme of our conference is "Lawyering for the Resistance." Community members, law students, legal workers, and lawyers will come together to discuss how to counter the rise of the right wing through supporting social movements and using experimental legal tactics. This year's keynote speaker will be Cat Brooks, the Executive Director of National Lawyers Guild's Bay Area Chapter.
